This letterbox will exist for six days only, from Monday, July 23, 2007 until Saturday, July 28.
It will be at the “EAA AirVenture” in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This week-long event attracts over 800,000 airplane enthusiasts from all over the world.
You must pay to enter the EAA AirVenture to have access to this letterbox.
Please remember to bring your own ink pad.
To find the letterbox, find the “old” or “original” FAA control tower (A new tower is under construction). This is called “The World's Busiest Control Tower" due to the enormous number of planes it directs during the AirVenture
About 100 feet East of the tower is an SBC public telephone in a red metal "cabinet".
The object you seek is a small black box about the size of a cigarette box. It is attached magnetically to the bottom of the cabinet.
Since this phone is in a very public space, you must be secretive. Pretend that you are talking on the phone while you casually reach under the shelf for the box. Take the box elsewhere to open it and stamp, then return it.
