At Applecrest Rd go to the end of the cul-de-sac.
Go up the trail towards the boulder
Go on the trail left of the boulder
Continue straight past trail on the right
Go over the buried rock wall and down the hill
Take either fork over the dried up stream (this is wet in the spring)
Pass another trail on the right
Follow on until you take the trail on the left where the downed log points.
22 paces down that trail you'll see a big tree on the right with 2 big boulders to the right of it.
Look for the Witch's powers under the rocks behind the boulder closest to the tree approximately 3 paces off the trail.
In the spring there is a pond adjacent to this site. It dries up in the summer.
Let us know when you find it or if it needs assistance.
There is a hand carved stamp, pen, and log book here. BYOIP.
Hope you enjoy the short walk. If you continue down the path you'll hit Summer Street.
These woods used to have more trails to explore prior to Merrimack College campus expansion.
