While exploring this cemetery, I found a gravestone “Niantic Indian Burying Ground, Tribe Extinct 1870.” If you would like to read more about the Niantic Indians, cut and paste this URL into your browser:

From the 2 trunk cedar next to FATHER, go due north to find this grave stone. From this stone - face east and walk (even the nooks and crannies) along the perimeter of the cemetery for about 90 steps to Howard. Walk additional 20 steps in the same direction (perimeter) to a multi- truck tree for Extinction.
