THIS BOX IS MISSING

In Cocoa Village, Taylor Park and Lee Wenner Park combine to form Riverfront Park.
The park features riverfront boardwalks, fountains and an amphitheater surrounded by a circular brick walking path.

I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO DOUBLE CHECK MY CLUES FOR THIS. IF YOU CAN NOT FIND IT EMAIL ME.

Enter through Taylor Park and walk toward the Indian River through the trees and past the playground.

Your search begins when you find Private First Class Emory Lawrence Bennet. You will find him standing in uniform smiling out over the Circle. Stop and read his memorial. He was a Medal of Honor recipient.

Step around the bench in front of Pfc. Bennet and look through the circle toward the River. If the fountain is on, you will see children playing in it. Turn to your left and begin walking clockwise around the brick circle.

Note: if you see a quote by Henry Ford or Victor Hugo you have gone too far round the circle.

See two benches on your left. Near them you will find “Tom and Jeanne”. Keep following the circle round.

See two more benches. Near them you will find “143 EST 1894” Keep going.

See two more benches and near them “Bruce and Viki”.

See two more benches. Stop and stand on “Girls just want to have fun”.

Face the center of the circle and take 4-5 steps forward. You should be on a top step. Turn 90 degrees to your left. You should be facing a planter with a palm tree surrounded by small juniper bushes. (You will be on one of the sides of the planter that is NOT tangent to the circle.) Take a step toward the planter. Your ship awaits you under the junipers slightly left of center in front of the palm tree. Be careful not to damage the junipers as you search.

Please do not go after this one if there are people near the planter. After you have stamped up, please reseal all bags. Hide it back where you found it and make sure that it is not visible to the casual observer.
While you are there don’t miss the chance to stand on the boardwalk and watch the dolphins and manatees playing near the sailboats in the Indian River. Early morning is the best time to see them. Have the kids bring thier swimsuits so that they can play in the fountain.

If this has made you hot or thirsty go in to Cocoa Village and sample the icecream and coffee shops there.
