I made mention of Cristóbal Colón in clues to one of my other letterboxes, however, I didn't mention him by name.
Find this spot and take a compass reading of the direction his eyes are looking (Some portraits it seems the eyes 'follow' you no matter where you stand, so take a reading of the direction his nose is pointing).
Now, find my other letterbox at this same location.
From my other letterbox take the compass reading you took earlier and subtract 30 degrees. At the new heading you will see a pointed stump about 5 foot in height, Cristóbal Colón is at the base of this stump covered with bark and leaves.
Please re-cover well, and keep his hiding spot a secret from other boxers . . . remember he's a mystery box!
Hand carved stamp, bring your own ink . . . black is recommended.
