Looking For Spiders - this letterbox is my son, Alien Freak's first, self-carved letterbox and plant. Yeah! Go Alien-Freak!
To find this box:
Locate the lovely little town of Benbrook in south west Fort Worth. Once there, you will need to find a street named for its namesake, Winfield Scott, an early Fort Worth rancher, developer and hotel owner of this fine city. Take this street heading south from the intersection at 820. Follow the timbercreek when you see it. Look past the mesquite. Skip over the locust. Park when you can to the north. If you located the grounds for the local small ones…park. (literally and figuratively.) At the silver starting point, place your feet where others have gone before you. Count the blocks to thirty-three. Find the steel pole that holds up the cyclone at 90 degrees. See the green ooze that drips down pointing to the spider’s nest….
Please re-hide very well. This is a well maintained location. If anything is missing or wrong with the box, please let me know. If you like my little one’s first carved plant – please let him know! Good luck and have a safe trip!
