The Pirates of the Chappaquiddick LbNA #33647

In April 2007 a couple of Pirates appeared on Chappy. They looted and stole a map of the (NEW) Island from the caretaker of TTR, who lived there year round with his family. The map revealed the location of the treasure and from this map you will discover the fortune of GOOD LUCK!



Travel via On Time II or On Time III. Follow the road till you pass The (ONLY) store (an island tradition). Go past open field on the right. Find Engine #3 & #5 on the right then follow to Blow Your Bugle Corner. Park your car or Bike in the Chappy Five Corners.
Stand on the rock and take the trail. There is a thicket of pine cone branches on left. Follow trail and at the 1st crossing go straight on the X-Chappy trail. At the 4 way junction take a right (white green trail).
Follow to learn about the Atlantic cedar forest and then cross the wooden bridge. At the top of the hill take a left at the lone tree. Follow along the mossy carpet. Pass under the tentecle of the OCTOPUS tree (8 branches)
Come to Sandy Road and take a left. Follow for approx. 300 yards. Take next left back on to the trail.(Red signed trail). Follow to a large meadow/clearing. Take trail to the left after pine tree. Pass the William H. Hardy Homestead and stay left at white MV land Bank sign. At 4 way STOP and look at the North East corner for a large log at the base of the tree. (approx. 5 feet long). Roll the log and you will find your treasure!
