This letterbox was placed in honor of my son's 18th birthday. It replaces Potter's Glasses which has come up missing. However, the new letterbox is in a new location.

Find Jimmy Nash City Park. You may park at the bottom of the hill or park at the top. Top part of road is gravel. Walk or drive to Maple Shelter House. It is across the road from Shelter House #9. Directly behind the shelter house is a swing set painted blue (as of date letterbox planted, anyway) Across the road from the blue swing set is a triple maple tree (3-trunked). Behind it look for a very tall tree in the woods with what looks like no bark or white bark. It's most likely a sycamore tree. Follow the wide path to the left of the sycamore. When you come to a sassafrass tree with a dying broken limb turn right. Follow this wide path for about 26 to 27 paces. There is a small trail on the right before the bend in the wide path. Follow this small trail for about 38 paces. Turn to the left side of the trail. You should see a 14-inch (diameter) tree cut off about 4 feet high that is 11 to 12 paces off the trail. Letterbox is there. Watch out for poison ivy and briars. Sorry! I had to do this to prevent critters and/or people from making off with the letterbox.
