My family and I went camping in this area and saw Moose drinking from the North Fork River. Just around the bend from us was a Mama Moose and her two babies. This inspired us to leave the "Mama Moose" letterbox!
From I-90, take Kingston exit 43 North. Follow Coeur d'Alene River Road 5.2 miles to the Bubble Bee campground turnoff (Little North Fork Road NF-209). From the turnoff, continue 2.9 miles to Bubble Bee Campground (NF-796). Just past here the road will turn from pavement to dirt. Continue on this road, enjoying the scenery of the rivers and forests, 2.8 miles. Look for a leaning evergreen tree on the river side of the road. Just past the tree is a turn off to park. At the base of the leaning tree is where you will find your treasure.
