This box was created and placed by a very special group of students in the class of 2014 that attend Stacy Middle School. Hopefully we will add to this box. It was a relief effort and reward from the MCAS exams. What a great lesson they learned...writing, giving directions, following directions, typing and most of all... teamwork!
Enjoy!
1. Start at the fire hydrant at the playground behind the Memorial School.
2. Face Stacy School and look towards 1:00 until you see the other fire hydrant. Walk to it.
3. Turn to the right and face the flag pole in the field.
4. Climb to the left and enter the field through the maze gate.
5. Walk through the field to the left side of the bleachers.
6. Climb to the top of the bleachers and balance carefully as you walk across.
7. When you get to the end, go to the bottom and take a left.
8. Take another quick left so you are behind the bleachers. Follow the path and take approximately 23 steps.
9. A rock wall is on your left. Look under the 3rd big rock from the end on the right.
10. Here you will find the "oh dear" letter box.
Be sure to rehide it well and cover it with rocks as this is a well traveled area.
