The Master Sword has long been Link’s key to defeating Ganondorf. Imbued with the power to repel evil, this sword has become the icon of the entire Zelda series. Although it has sometimes been referred to as the Magic Sword, the Master Sword has been in every major Legend of Zelda game. The Master Sword should not be thought of as just a sword, but rather a symbol for justice. In fact, it will only choose a wielder who has an extremely pure heart, namely Link. Players must often go through several hours of game play to reach the consecrated resting place of this sacred relic. Second only to the Biggoron's Sword in attack power, the Master Sword is the supreme weapon in the entire Zelda universe, a truly divine symbol of the good in Hyrule. This Master Sword can be found at the Adirondack Visitor Center in Newcomb. It has many fun activities and trails with wildlife.
Directions:
From Long Lake, drive east for 14 miles to the Adirondack Visitor Center and park in the lot.
Clues:
Go to the Visitor Center and exit in the back. Take the Rich Lake Trail to the left. Cross two bridges until you get to a trail sign saying “Rich Lake Trail on right.” Go right for 60 steps to a wooden bench. Face the bench, and from the left side, walk six steps off trail to a birch tree. The box is on the back side under sticks and leaves. Please re-cover well.
