The 9-hole semi-private "Hillsboro" course at the Hillsboro Country Club facility in Hillsboro, Texas features 2,904 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The course rating is 35 and it has a slope rating of 113. Hillsboro golf course opened in 1931.

To the letterbox:

From the Hill County Courthouse, travel east on Franklin Street 0.9 miles. Turn left onto Country Club Road. Travel less than one mile then turn left onto Country Club Drive. Country Club Drive will dead end into the Hillsboro Country Club. At the country club turn right into the parking lot. Park in front of the tree that is directly across from the green front door entrance of the country club. If you want to shoot for par, you don't have to look too far. If a birdie's what you seek, then just look behind the tree. If an eagle's on your mind, lift the rock and claim your find.
