Wheel chair friendly: yes except reaching the box
Introduction: Sturgeon can live to be 100 years old and are the largest fresh water fish in North America. Their size can range from a few inches long to over 15 feet in length. Sturgeon have cartilage skeletons and sandpaper rough hide much like shark. These primitive bottom feeders still swim in the Columbia River.
From Columbia Park Trail turn onto Leslie.
Turn right onto Canyon Avenue and follow it until it becomes Hills West Way.
Turn left onto Englewood.
Follow Englewood until it dead ends, then turn right onto Glenwood Court and follow it until it ends at the Badger Mountain park view shelter.
Park in the provided stalls and follow the paved trail to the view shelter.
From the middle of the view shelter's southwest corner, follow the trails to the south east. Where the trail meets the parking lot, count 80 steps, then turn to your left.
The letterbox (or rather, letter BAG) is hidden off the trail between the third and fourth large rock. Please be gentle with the rabbit brush around the area and WATCH OUT FOR RATTLESNAKES!!
