This hand-made stamp was designed by my 9yr old daughter.
This is a new area to hike/stroll in.
Clues:
Make your way to one of the small Islands on Lake Champlain. Isle La Motte can be accessed by car or boat.
Drive down Main Street until you come to Quarry Road. There is a sign for the Goodsell Ridge Preserve.
Park in the small lot or on Quarry Road. There are several different trails to follow.
Take the North trail. Right at the first fork, and keep walking straight. You will pass a very tall Arborvitae.
Look for a white arrow on your left. Follow path past 3 white marks painted on rocks.
Head through a "tunnel of dead trees"; past another painted rock.
Find a white mark stapled to a tree on your right. Look at 1:00 and see a half burried rock.
Look under the rock for a small gap. You will find the hand-carved stamp!
Please reseal the bags and box well. Send us an email to let us know how the box is doing.
