Directions: Take Rt. 29 North until it ends at Rt. 99. Turn left onto Rt. 99. Take this approx. 6 miles until making a right onto Henryton Road. Follow this all the way to the end and park.

Distance: Less than 1/2 mile round-trip if you go directly to the letterbox and come directly back.

We have enjoyed MANY hikes here - great for dogs! Not great for strollers, but we've carried (front carrier or backpack) our young one and the older one walks - we've seen lots of great wildlife here as well. Be aware of horseback riders too!

Stamp: My first carve - so please be kind - the joys of having a four-year-old into Transformers :)

As you're facing the end of the road, if you take the path straight ahead, there is a water hole that many kids swim in. Take the path to your right for some good hiking as well.

But for this letterbox, you want the path to your left. At the immediate "Y" stay to the left. Ditto for the next "Y". Turn right and cross the bridge over the stream. At the next "Y", turn right - down towards the water, not up the hill. Veer left at the next "Y" to stay along the side of the water - not heading straight towards it. Once you step over the log across the path, take approx. 81 paces (1 pace = 1 female step) until you see a fallen log lying along the path to your left and 2 VERY LARGE 4+ trunked trees, one right in front of the other on your right. Walk around to the back of the tree closest to you (beware of thorns) and look under the bark in the crack to find our letterbox.
