Albino Park is on the northeast corner of Orient Way and Valley Brook Avenue.
On August 5th, 1947, Patrolman Thomas Albino was in his early 40’s and had eight years under his belt when he was killed by a shotgun blast while serving an eviction notice. He was by all accounts a devoted family man, with a wife and two children. If he had lived, perhaps he would have come to this place with his grandchildren and told them the Turtle’s Tale?
• You MUST bring a child along (age 6 or younger). The neighbors who live around the park are very suspicious, and WILL call the police if they see a lone adult (this has already happened to a 'boxer here; you have been warned!).
• Bring your own ink; black is suggested.
• Be discreet, there are two well-used roadways in plain view.
