Very easy walk on a nature trail.
Store bought stamp that was planted by my daughter in law in Georgia until the animals got into it. Looking at it closely, you can still see little teeth marks. I felt it belonged somewhere in town since Northfield boasts four covered bridges within it's borders.

From the red light in Northfield, turn onto Vine St. following signs for the schools. Turn right onto North St. (signs again) left onto Cemetery st. pass the cemetery with the schools now in front of you, curve right up Garvey Hill Road, pass a school parking lot, go uphill to an unpaved lot on the left just past Garvey Field.

Once in the lot locate the trail behind the sign that reads "No Parking Dusk to Dawn". Start off behind the sign, going uphill to a nature trail sign. At this point the trail turns left and levels off. Just follow the red plastic circles (I've been told these are missing) until you come to a plank bridge (just before another nature trail sign). At the bridge turn back, count 35 steps and look to the left for some downed trees and branches perpendicular to the trail Walk up the left side of this pile (you might see signs of human cut boards along here) until you reach the root end of a tree (up the little knoll). Look behind the first root. Please rehide well. Northfield needs it's boxes.
