This box is dedicated to my biggest (smallest?) letterboxing fan. So far nothing has been too much for Jonah so this box will be a piece of cake for him even though he’s only 20 months old.
Way to go, Jonah!!

From route 44 follow Indian Hill Road to Breezy Hill Road (they actually connect at this point) turn right, go 0.1 miles and park on the left (if you get to Breezy Hill Farm, you went too far). Parking is roadside and limited but this is not a high traffic spot. The trail you want is on the right side of the road 100 feet up the road from where you pulled left (although there’s also another trail on the left, future box?).

An easy mile and a half round trip with many interesting stonewalls and boulders. Trail blazes are in yellow. Trail starts uphill with walls on both sides and then descends to a creek, following it for a bit before crossing on stepping stones. After a few more ups and downs you reach a very small bridge (Jonah size) which leads you to the steepest part of the trail. This hill levels a bit and ascends slightly once again, coming to an interesting pile of rocks on the right. After this pile watch on the left for a three sister tree in front of a rock ledge. Look behind the tree and in front of the ledge for a whale of a good time.

Cover well with debris. Thanks.
