11/5/15 - all cleaned up with a new, dry, book and slightly updated clues.
-------------------------------------------------------------

We found another interesting cemetery today. This one is in Canton off Dyer Cemetery Rd. It is the Dyer Cemetery but there is no sign saying that.

Dyer Cemetery Rd is a flat loop off Rte 44 just east of the intersection of 44, 202 and 179. There is a turnoff to the cemetery entrance. There is a sign pointing up the hill. Dyer Cemetery Rd is one-way westbound from the east end to the cemetery turnoff. The rest of it is two-way.

At the top of the hill, drive into the cemetery and to the left. Stop before the road goes only to the right and park. This cemetery has an interesting arrangement of plots, some interesting stories on the stones and a large collection of bird houses. You will even see stones in the woods.

From where you parked check out the old side and look down hill. Go down the path to the steps and look back. (Be very careful if it's wet.) It's a great view from the bottom. Now go back up a little to the biiig tree branch that fell. It looks like it took a stone with it. Look for the "box" in the tree just behind the fallen marker under some bark. Beware of poison ivy.
