*This box is missing*

El Segundo is one of the few places on earth where you will find the endangered and elusive El Segundo Blue Butterfly. There are only three colonies of this butterfly left in existence.

To catch a glimpse of the rare Blue Butterfly and to find the letterbox, travel to Freedom Park. Like the butterfly, this letterbox is very small. To find this box, look for the only section of fence at the back of the park painted red. There you will see an old tree stump. Look behind the stump and behind the red fence pole. Reach down behind the post and take the box over to a bench to enjoy. In this box you will find a hand-carved stamp, a handmade logbook and a prize for the first finder. Please bring your own ink or markers.

This is a popular park for joggers and dogwalkers so be stealthy! Please recover the box well.
