This is an easy 25 minute walk, great for kids and pets.

Begin by parking inside the opening of the East Boston Camps Land in Westford, MA. There is a sign for the East Boston Camps opposite the Fletcher's Farm Stand on Depot Road. Park inside the campgrounds keeping the train tracks on your left and following the arrow pointing into the park.

Facing the information kiosk the road goes in two directions. Take the road that would be the same side that you would "pass the Dutchy" (Artist: Musical Youth). Take the first trail on the same side of that road across from the large abandoned tractor tire.

You should see two railroad timbers framing the base of an old outhouse on the right.

After a few paces the trail will split. The Village People of the 70's or the Petshop Boys cover would say "GO ______."

Follow the trail as it goes up a hill and then down again.

Two paths are available as you start to descend. A triple tree stands in the crossroads. Take the one "to the left, to the left."

As you follow this path you will see a tree with 6 trunks on the right, stay to the right. Go 60 steps until you are faced with a 260 degree view of the water and a 200 degree view of train tracks/train.

The Dream Academy sings about "Life in a (this kind of) Town." Go in that directions keeping the marsh on the left side of you.

As you follow this path you will see a stone bench on the right. This is the first of three such benches you will see.

Within view of this bench up the trail are two twisted birch trees. From the birch trees take the same amount of steps as in Nena Luft's Balloons and you will come to a second bench. this one pays tribute to a Norman Freenbaum hit covered in the 80's song by Doctor and the Medics.

From the Bench take the same amount of steps as there are hand gestures in the Macarena (aaaiya) and you will find the bench that belongs to the girl who answers at 867-5309 (well close enough!)

Sit on the bench and enjoy the view of the winding river, catfish, bullfrog and occassional train in the distance. Look for the double Y tree. The box hides at the base on the side away from the water. After stamping in please rehide and retrace your steps to get back to the main parking area.
