The Montshire Museum is one of our favorite places. It’s a science museum with loads of hands on exhibits and lots of nature trails. Plan to spend a full and very fun day. There is a charge of about $9. When you get there get a “Visitor’s Guide”. Within there is a trail guide. The Bluff is just off the Overlook loop, a very nice easy walk along the Connecticut River. Be careful not to touch the poison ivy, which is abundant. Sit down on the bench and look to your right. There in the five trunk tree is the letterbox. The logbook is untitled because we ran out if ink, So we plan to return soon to check on it and update it. Bring your own ink pad and PLEASE be discreet and rehide well. Have fun! And let us know how it goes.
