This box is at the Galena Summit lookout, which has got to be one of the most beautiful spots on earth! Take a moment to just look out over the mountains and breathe the fresh air!
Special notes: The hiding spot of this box may not be accessible in the snow.
Directions: Head north on highway 75 from Ketchum, Idaho. Drive approximately 30 miles. On the left hand side of the road you will see the Galena Summit lookout. Park in the lot and walk to the lookout area. As you look west toward the Sawtooth Mountains you will see a very large dead tree approximately 50 feet down the hill. About 20 feet past that tree are three large pine trees in a row. The middle one looks like it has four trunks. The letterbox is buried beneath a pile of rocks on the tree where the trunk splits into four.
