2873 feet high LbNA #34508

From 1-15 exit Barstow Road and head south about 4 1/2 miles. You will be travelling uphill. You will pass First Baptist Church and Barstow College. After a few miles of open desert you will pass the landfill. Immediately after passing the landfill look for a green sign at the top of the hill indicating 2873 ft. of elevation. There is a sign on each side of the road. Begin at the sign on the east side of the road (the landfill side). Walk 40 steps up the graded road until reaching a berm. On the far side of the berm you will find the box in a small pile of rocks.
