Today is CHARLIE'S birthday !!
This box is one of his Birthday presents. He says he'll gladly share his BIRTHDAY Letterbox.... but you can't have any cake. **LOL**
Stop by and stamp the book... to wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE letterbox is hidden in Hickory City Park. You can find Hickory City Park off 321 North in Hickory....... turn between ARBYS and NISSAN of HICKORY. Cross the railroad tracks and immediately take a sharp turn to the left onto 15th ave nw. Take the first right. At the stop sign turn left onto 12th st dr nw. Just a short ways up Turn left into HICKORY CITY PARK.
Park in the parking lot. Pass the bathrooms and picnic pavilion at the end of the lot. Stand at the far corner of the picnic pavilion looking down onto the tennis courts. See the covered picnic table ??? Walk down to the table. Now look for the bench courtside..... do you see it ?? Go have a seat on this bench. From this bench look all the way around you.... find a birdhouse. The HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE Letterbox is hidden behind this birdhouse, under the rear branches of a small evergreen tree covered with leaves.
