Drive to the main gate at the scout camp Whitsett (driving directions are at http://www.whitsett.org/Driving.htm).
Facing the gate, with the forest service road 22s82 behind you, go to the right pole of the gate. From this pole (stay about 3 feet away from the pole as it seems to influence the compass reading) take about 12 steps at 230 degrees, where the letterbox was hidden besides a tree stump of about 4 feet height.
Re-hide the box well under bark.
