International Chocolate Day - Box 4 (September 13th)
What better place to celebrate Chocolate day then to go to the lake concession stand and grab a piece of chocolate while looking at the lake. So, this box is planted at the Lake Tyler Concession area.
Directions
From 110, go east on 346 till you see a brown sign on your right for the Lake Tyler Concession Road and Boat Ramp. Turn left on to Concession Road. It is about 1.4 miles from the traffic light at the high school to the brown sign. Go down this road until you see a sign for Lake Tyler Marina and RV park. Turn left and park in the parking area for Concession Area #1, right by the bathrooms on your left. Walk to the bathrooms, walk straight between the womens bathroom and the nearby stump and walk in that direction straight to the tree line. Enter the tree line and continue until you see a dirt path that is used primarily by atv’s. Walk down this trail deeper into the woods until you see a tall stump (12-15 feet) with a fallen tree beside it and another tall thin tree stump (12-15 feet). There is a thin cedar tree between the two stumps. The fallen tree connects the two stumps. The chocolate is behind the fallen tree closer to the thin stump.
