Constitution Day - Box 5 (September 17th)
The Constitution of the United States insures that we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness...what better way to spend this day then camping at a lake in a place named after the home of the president of the United States?
Directions
From 110, go east on 346 till you see a brown sign on your right for the Lake Tyler Concession Road and Boat Ramp. Turn left on to Concession Road. It is about 1.4 miles from the traffic light at the high school to the brown sign. Go down this road until you see a sign for Lake Tyler Marina and RV park. Turn left and continue down this road past the marina and the RV park till you get to a sign for RV #2 on your right side. Turn right. Immediately after you turn right, you will see a grassy area on your left to park. Park here. There is no parking sign, but their is an orange sign that says danger cable route. In front of you there is a trail. Follow that trail to your left and then it will curve back to the right, back into the woods. Walk a short way and you will see a tree on your left side that reminds you of a chair. Right next to the tree is a fallen log. The constitution is under the fallen log about a foot away from the chair. If you get to a Y in the trail then you have gone too far
