You are going to be in the heart of downtown Sherborn. We thought we would make some suggestions so that you can make a day of it. Take a moment and enjoy. Might we suggest
C & L Frosty for some Moose Tracks ice cream.....yummy might we also suggest the burgers there too....the best around! This town also boasts one of the last Volunteer Fire Depts and the guys here are fabulous about kids interested in the trucks etc....There are also other LB's to find and they are fun too.

From the intersection of Rte 16 & Rte 27 travel South on 27/16 approx 1/4 mile take a left just after the Fire Station. Follow past the tennis courts and then on your right is the entrance and parking lot for The Sherborn Playground. Park here.

Walk Northeast out of the parking lot through the break in the stone wall (you probably drove into the lot here). Cross the road into the field **Be careful** See the cemetary entrance on your right..........but continue walking into the field. Keep walking NE to the baseball diamond. Stand next to First base. Follow the line(this is 0nly here during baseball season)until you are under "Our Biggest Fan" (but this is here all year round) Now turn with your back to the playground. Walk in direction of other baseball field. The fields are on your left and the woods are on your right. Walk along the edge of the trees until you see a wide trail going uphill on your right (If you come to a road you went too far.
Go up the hill all the way to the top. When you get to the large rock, climb over the it. 15 paces from the top of the rock going forward.....turn left to the tree with bark pulled off. At the base of this tree there is a hole, remove two small rocks.
