Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Microbox: 15 feet
Status of Microbox: Alive and Well on 3/23/2009 (wet)
The "Cheeseburger in Paradise" microbox was intended to be placed in St. Barts, but I forgot to take it ashore when there in June. So, it has found a new home at Tapatio Springs resort, just out of Boerne, Texas. This is a great resort, with golf, tennis, pools, deer everywhere (with spots?). Enjoy a cheeseburger in the grill, and watch golfers finish there day on the 18th hole.
Directions:
From Boerne on I-10 heading west, exit John's Rd (just past Hwy 46) and go left over the overpass. Continue straight and follow the signs for the resort for 4 miles. Once you reach the low water crossing, go left at the fork and pass the flag poles on the right and the mail boxes on the left. Very soon after, turn left on the first roadway and park on the left under the tree limbs across from the parking lot.
To the Microbox:
Walk down to the base of this tree. At about 3 feet up on the left side is a cavity with a rock in it. The box is under the rock, under some additional bark. Please re-cover it well!!!
