Placed by J&A-Bear.
Directions: Your goal is to take the road that leads to Pittsburgh Landing/Snake River National Recreational Trailhead/Hells Canyon Access.
From Riggins travel north on State Highway 95. Turn left onto the Old Highway 95. Turn left onto Deer Creek Road and follow signs for about 8+ miles to the Hells Canyon Recreation Area Sign at the top of the hill overlooking the canyon down below.
Clues: Look to the right of this Recreation Area Sign and see the tall pine about 15 steps below. At its base and under some rocks, the CAT ROARs. Continue on down to Pittsburgh Landing if you like where there have been cougar sightings and kills this summer.
