(Letterbox removed for service 11/26/2014)

When we see a 'One Way' sign we know that means vehicles may only go in one direction. But have you ever wondered if there is only one way to God, or many ways? I'm sure you have your views and beliefs. There is however only One Way to God and that is through Jesus Christ. In the Bible, John 14:6 says, "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

The 'One Way' letterbox is located in the Joe Pool Lake Visitor Overlook. From I-20, go south on 1382 for 2 miles. The entrance to the Visitor Overlook is to the right and is not well marked, however, before going through the gate you will see the Visitor Overlook sign to the right. Take the second left and follow the circle to the parking area.

From the north end of the parking area, follow the wooden post/cable fence by the side of the road. At the 5th post go into the trail, and once you go around the large cedar tree, look northeast and find a tree that branches in many different directions. Circle to the north side of the tree and look for a rock at the base. Under the rock and leaves you will find the 'One Way' letterbox.

As with all letter boxes, please seal the bags and re-hide it carefully. After you are finished, take one of the trails to the dam and take nice stroll along the north end of the lake. Many people walk, jog, skate and bike along this beautiful lake.
