This is in honor of the MASSIVE intertwined spiderwebs at Lake Tawakoni State Park. You have to see it to believe it! Millions of spiders have made webs in a series of countless trees and shrubs on the nature trail. The day I planted this the wind was blowing fiercely and more than one spider landed on us! This is not for the faint of heart if you don't like spiders. They are all around you on the trail-crawling on the ground at your feet, at eye-level, and overhead! Yikes!

That being said, I planted my box on another off-shoot trail where there are still many webs, but not quite as intimidating as the other trail.

To find this box, drive towards the swimming beach and park. You will see the sign for the nature trail. Take the trail until you come to a clearing with a picnic table and a trashcan. The trail forks. If you want to visit the eight legged paradise before searching for the box, take the left hand trail. To find the box, take the right hand trail. Proceed on this trail and you will go down a slight incline. At the next fork, go left for 78 steps. Look to your left for a medium large tree with about a 2 foot circumference about 4 feet off the trail. It has a lot of bare, spiky branches pointing downwards under its canopy of leaves. Shangri-La for creepy crawlies is at the base of the tree on the west side under some leaves. Please rehide under leaves so the box will not be visible from the trail.
Have Fun!
