The Fort Adams Letterbox was planted in a very busy place on the spur of the moment, a whim if you will, while I was visiting Newport for a couple of days. It is a beautiful place with much to offer; besides, it is steeped in history from colonial through contemporary times--and I love that!

Please consider this an urban letterbox. I had a very difficult time planting it due to it's location.

**UPDATE 4th.May 2019: confirmed missing.**

Behind a wall several sisters
anxiously await anchors aweigh.
Beneath their fallen sibling.

Please stamp in away from the hiding place, and carefully avoid making or at least try to conceal social trails to the letterbox--especially in mud or snow! Kindly double bag the log, reseal the Lock-n-Lock type box, and re-hide the letterbox exactly where it was placed, covering it well and contact the placer if you find any problems.

Thank you, Connfederate
