The Hiawatha bike trail is a fun ride through 10 tunnels and 7 high trestles, the 15-mile route crosses the Bitterroot Mountains between Idaho and Montana. The Route of the Hiawatha is best known for the long, dark St. Paul Pass, or "Taft" Tunnel, which travels for 1.66 miles under the Idaho/Montana state line. The trail and the road to the east end is not open year round, due to the snow.
Here are a couple places to find more info.

Clues: From the Taft exit (#5) on Interstate 90, go to the south and east past the gravel piles and the strange building. Cross the St. Regis river and then south up Raney Cr. canyon. After about 2 miles stay to the left at the fork. This will bring you to the parking area for the east portal end of the bike trail. Where the road / parking / trail intersect find an old foundation. Against the mountian there is the lower end of a power pole, and a green box. Close under the pole and under the rocks is the stamp that Gracie the dog would like to chase. She could not go on the trail.
