The "Safari Man- On The Highway/ and Interstate" series depicts things one might see as they drive the highways of the U.S.. These are targeted mainly for rest stops but might pop up anywhere along a highway. This
letterbox is titled I THINK I GOT CAUGHT. Happy traveling and be careful you don't end up like this guy.

In the west bound lane of I-81 enter the rest stop at the TN 2mm and drive to the last car parking spot on the right. Cross back directly across the access road to the grassy area and go to the tree line. Make a right hand turn at the trees and go approximately 63 steps and directly to your right should be the second tree along the access road. On your left is a small deciduous tree nestled in cedars and just past this is a cedar that forks about 6 feet above ground. Find the letterpouch hanging from a limb of the cedar right by where it forks, on your side of the tree. Unwrap the wire from the limb and take the pouch somewhere away from this tree to do the stamping. NOTE: Update from letterboxer "Delight" "all of the trees lining the access road have been cut down except for the last one; you could only see stumps. We found the pouch hanging in a different tree than the clue read, but rehid it there because the forked tree in the clue was pretty bare. The tree where we rehid it was another cedar, just to the left of the deciduous tree (instead of right), so once you find the forked tree, it's the first cedar back to the left. Hope that was okay."
Upon stamping completion please reseal both baggies completely so that the log book is double bagged to prevent getting ruined by moisture. (the Pouch is not water proof) and hang the pouch as and where you found it. And I hope this short hunt/find helped relieve some of the tension of driving the interstate for hours on end. Please drop me a line and let me know the condition of the box and any other comments you would care to share. Cordially, Glenn/Safari Man from Ohio
