80 years ago I set sail on my journey to a secret spot to hide my treasure. It was a foggy dark morning as I approached Manitowoc, the lighthouse helped to guide me in but had a hard time penetrating through the thick fog. I had to abandon my boat as it came crashing against the rocky shoreline. My treasure was lost through a hole in the bottom of my boat. I searched in the dark for my lost treasure and just as I found it stuck between some rocks I was attacked by some pirates and had to abandon my treasure forever. To this day pirates are on the lookout for my lost treasure.
If you dare to face the pirates in a search for my lost bounty here are your clues:
Take Maritime Drive North along the lakefront and park in the parking lot just past the boat storage and follow the concrete path out towards the lighthouse. Along the way you may want to take a break to enjoy the veiw of the marina from the bench next to the path. After your rest continue to head south and keep your eyes open for numbers painted on the path, the box is in the rocks just to the east of the path 3 steps past the number5. If you miss the numbers as they are quite faded not to worry just continue on until you reach the maintenance shed next to the dog run,(just a hint, you may want to bring your four legged friend on this search), from the north side of the shed walk 37 paces north and you will find what you came for, stamp up, rehide well and maybe head out to the lighthouse to enjoy the veiw. We hope you have enjoyed your adventure!!
