Veteran's Park/Broomall Rotary Field is located on Lawrence Road, just up the hill from St. Pius X Catholic Church. From Route 476, Exit 9, head east toward Upper Darby/Havertown/Philadelphia. At the bottom of the hill, turn right onto Lawrence Road, and head up the hill. The park is just past the church on the right hand side.
This park is dedicated to the men and women who have served our country in the military. Many of the trees and benches in this park are dedicated to them.
This is a short walk. The park has a playground and picnic tables, if you want to bring a lunch.

Enter through the arch, and turn right to follow the footpath. At the triangle garden, keep to the left. Take a detour onto the Pavillion stage, and look across the field for a landmark -- a low footbridge on the path. Exit the stage using the steps, and continue along the footpath. Cross the first bridge, and walk along the path, until you get to the unmarked bench near the tree dedicated to Sid and Lee Strand, just before the second bridge.

Turn right off the trail toward the woods, and take 27 steps (a step is each time either foot hits the ground). Stop, and turn slightly to the right, and take 15 more steps toward a round bush. You'll see a stand of pine trees -- one tall, one small, and two together. Walk around the bush and go between the two trees. Immediately to the right is a cluster of bushes with their trunks exposed. Between the trunks is where you'll find what you are hunting for.
