Driving Directions: Malek Park is located on Parrish Road in Conneaut; however, due to major road construction and building of an overpass, the northern portion of the road cannot be accessed. All traffic must enter the park by traveling south on Parrish Road from Lake Road. Enter Malek Park via the last drive on the right before the Parrish Road blockade.

Hints: Drive to the most western parking lot in this park. Watch for geese! Upon arriving at the correct site, you will see a paved walkway that loops in an oval shape for a half mile. Look for a sign on the northern portion that designates this walking space as "Ted Penfield Health Trail."
You want to walk toward the south side of the loop. About a yard from the sign, the letterbox is resting on a blue rock and is covered by a block of wood. It is in a very weedy place. Just reach for the box. First, you will have to step over an exercise beam. There are numerous Health Beat checkpoints like this one which are designated for specific exercises and are located along the trail.

Dogs enjoy exercising too, and they are welcome at this park if they are kept on leashes.
