Take the I15 800 N. exit into Orem. 800 North will eventually take you into Provo Canyon. Continue through the canyon several miles until you see the "Sundance" turn off on the LEFT side of the road. Follow this windy road, pasing the ski resort and passing the hotel. You'll pull through a Forrest Service check point were you may need to have a few dollars on hand, depending on whether or not they are open.
Park in the lot on the LEFT side of the road. The trail begins just right of the Restrooms and will shortly curve left. This trail usually takes about 40-60 minutes one way, but the scenery is well worth the hike. Follow the trail noting the following landmarks:
-Water tank (left side of the trail)
-rock slides (right side of the trail)
-swith backs (nearing the waterfall)
As you come out of the switch backs you will see the waterfall and a waist high wooden post marker. Starting from this post take approx. 12 paces toward the stream
where you should see a rather large knarled log to your left. The log holds Stewart Falls Secret!
