Directions:On South Street in Coventry between the Nathan Hale Homestead and the Strong Porter House is the trail for the Corney letterbox. Park on the side of the road or in the field and walk down the dirt road that is the entrance for the Farmers' Market. Follow the dirt road down and it will bend to the left, go a little more and you will see a side road to your left that leads to a field - stay straight. Go down a small hill and the road will bend to the left again and so will you. Walk straight down the road with a stone wall and the Nathan Hale Homestead on your left. Soon the road will turn to the right. STOP there. Take a reading of 125 degrees, and with the wall still on your left you need to bushwack down a small path to another stone wall straight in front of you. There will be some remnants of an old stump on top of this wall and a pile of dirt beneath it. On the right side of the stump in the wall behind a stone door is the letterbox. You are in the woods directly behind the corn maze at the Nathan Hale Homestead. When the corn is up in the fall you should go to the front entrance of the Hale Estate, pull in and park and check it out. It's neat. Kind Of Corney huh? The NeeDeeps
