~This box was placed to show off a wonderful little roadside spot that I have always enjoyed.

Please bring a clean, one gallon jug and $ .50 with you.

There are no markers in this box.

Directions:
When heading North on Route 32 in the town of Willington, you will be going through some beautiful areas (especially nice on a motorcycle).
After crossing Route 74, you will go by both entrances to Old River Road.
You will then need to start looking very closely on the right side of the road for a pull off to Schofield Springs. The sign has a lot of growth around it and is a little tough to spot.
Pull in here and park.

Clues:
With your back to the "front door", walk until you come to three very large granite stones.
Now, stand in front of the sign, you will be facing Northbound.
Go to your left around the sign and once you are at the back corner, turn right and count five (5) larger, base stones. Under the fifth one, under many smaller rocks, you will find the letterbox.
Please replace exactly where you found it when you are finished, being sure to cover it well.
Thanks.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit.

Flutterby~
