Braum’s Lullaby

I am planting this box in honor of my newest grandbaby. He was born April 4 2007. His mother cannot take care of him so she chose to have him adopted by a lovely family. She went through Hope Cottage in Dallas. It is an open adoption so she will be able to visit her child from time to time. The family who adopted him already had one little girl that is two so now she has a brother. His name is Kurtis. We love you, Kurtis, and this box is for you. Grandma
Clues
From Kaufman TX, take hwy 34 toward Ennis TX. Turn left onto Hwy 148. Go till you find CR 2451 and turn west. Go to CR 4084 and turn South. Go to the Cottonwood Baptist Church. This Church is over 100 years old and has always been in service. They have an active membership today.
Park your car in the parking area facing the main road. You will notice 8 cross ties. Stand in the center of the 8 cross ties facing the main road. Walk 18 steps to the box at the base of this tree. It is hidden behind the grape vine growing on this tree. Please recover well. Also if you go on down the road pass the church, you will find the Cottonwood Cemetery. There is an interesting story about this Cemetery and the log house in front of it. http://www.tsha.utexas.edu/handbook/online/articles/CC/hlc79.html
