Located at the State Veteran Cemetery on Bow Lane, exit 12 from route 9 (either way) follow the signs for the cemetery.
This is a very sacred place....please treat it with the respect it deserves.
No dogs allowed, they have a gate but I didn't see a time for opening, use your own judgement. The box might be on land for Calvary Cemetery next door but I think this is the best way to access it. Bring your own ink.
Enter by the main gate, turn right at the flag poles, pass the building and take the first right drive which is a cul de sac around sec. 61. After completing the circle, pull to the curb at the break in the pines and look right for two willow trees at the edge of the woods (I'm told that one of the willows is down). Walk between the willows to find a broken vault cover. From the center of the break poke a stick under the right side of it. When returning it safely to the hiding spot, stuff some leaves in to cover it well.
***as of June 15th 2011 I'm told there has been some dumping of flowers and brambles here. I've also been told to add this sentence **walk in to the corner over some of the brambles and look down to the right for the crack in the cement**
