Seven miles east of Richwood on route 39 is the North Bend Picnic Ground in the Monongahela National Forest. Park near the restrooms and walk across the arch bridge. Follow the trail -- it is blazed with blue plastic diamonds. From the second diamond (the first one is kind of mangled) walk approximately 15 paces (1 pace = 2 steps). You should be standing roughly between two trees, facing a tree dead ahead approximately 25 yards ahead. If you look behind you there should be a tree approximately 10 yards away to the left with a blue plastic diamond on it. If you se all this, you are in the right spot! From this spot on the trail between the two trees, take a heading of 280 degrees to the "W." The box is on the WNW side of the "W" in the hollow spot covered with leaves.
When we planted this box there were two trees felled on the trail. From the arch bridge to the box is approximately 110 yards.
