Trinity, Indiana, is nearly a ghost town so don't check your map. There is Trinity Catholic Church, a priest house, another house nearby, and farming land all around. You are looking for the cemetary that is next to the church, and will be approaching from the west on Indiana Ste. Rte. 67, or from the east on Ohio Ste. Rte. 29. It is just inside Indiana a couple of miles. The church and cemetary are on the south side of the road.
My father's maternal and paternal great-grandparents settled here and were instrumental in establishing the church. They were the Buetle and Laux families, respectively. Think some gentle thoughts of them as you see all their names on the gravestones...they were good hardworking settlers in the 1800's.
As you turn into the drive way between Trinity Church and the cemetary, you will want to drive about halfway down the drive. Look on your right for the graves of Frank and Odelia Laux. Walk to the west ten rows back to the lone pine tree in the 10th row, and look among it's branches on the east side of the tree.
