This is our first letterbox plant. We hope you enjoy finding it. These clues take you in mildly un-landscaped areas. Please use caution and common sense in your box hunting.
The box name will tell you where to begin.
start at the place where children play
the bear tracks, then, will lead the way
when you reach the snake, locate its head
in the direction of the tongue you should tread
when come to the path, to the East you should head
to an exercise station, our clues have led
bear right off the path and head down towards the stream
take a moment, if you like, to sit and daydream
look for the turtle (a real one) in the pond to the right
don’t try to get near him (he just might bite!)
head Northeast on the dirt pathway alongside the rocks
it may be overgrown – good thing you wore socks
when you reach the dead palm, head back up the grade
if you’ve gone under the bridge, too far you have strayed
bear to the right when you reach the top
at the first sign you see, come to a stop
at the first letter on the sign, take a minute to stare
don’t quit now, you’re almost there!
continue on the path until your letter is found
you’ll only find it by looking toward the ground
if that was too vague, here’s a good tip
if you wander off the path, you’ll literally trip (over your letter)
opposite your letter, is a large multi-trunk tree
go to the backside (be careful of the slope) and this box you will see
you’re finally there, you’ve crossed the last hurdle
at the base of the tree is the Acacia Park Turtle
Please return the box hidden under bark and be discreet.
