Hungry Hang Glider Pilot series ONE
available until end of NOVEMEBR 2007

We have been going to Cape Cod for thirty years for a Halloween Hang Glider Fly-In Weekend. This is part one of three series to remember our favorite restaurants.

Provincetown - part 1

Travel into the heart of P-TOWN for the first box. This is a highly visible location, so please take extra care gathering and replacing this box. Also one of these boxes is at least 5 feet off the ground!

Letterbox One:
This one has no parking available...so travel with someone who can jump out to find/replace.

Find Governor Bradford and across the street is a favorite crustacean restaurant. We have had many Halloween Saturday night weekend feasts with 30 or more pilots getting together at this restaurant.

This ia a small HIDE A KEY letterbox, with a mini log book, just enough room for your trail name and date...NO INK PAD. Facing the restaurant, there is a alley on the right side of the building. About 20 feet in the alley there is a large metal box on the wall, and the HIDE A KEY black box is stuck onto the side away from the street.

Letterbox Two:
This is on 6a a number 31 you must find and no more "TIPS" will we give you...ha ha. Many many breakfasts have been enjoyed here, and a real advantage is the great parking provided......hang gliders are long and often hard to get in and out of P-TOWN parking spaces.

This ia a small HIDE A KEY letterbox, with a mini log book, just enough room for your trail name and date...NO INK PAD. Facing the restaurant, there is a small parking lot on the left side. On a platform next to the building is a large metal box on the wall, and the HIDE A KEY black box is stuck onto the side between the BOX and the wall.

Letterbox Three:
Continue on 6a out of town, a number 350, towards Truro. Just before you see Cape Cod Bay you will see a restaurant on your left. A husband and wife team with a great weekend buffet brunch. HINT: husband's first name and wife's first name is the name of the place.

The Letterbox you seek is not actually on the property, but you can park in the parking lot for a few minutes while you search. Go up the hill past the parking lot. On the edge of the cut grass there is a stump (cut very close to the ground) this letterbox hides behind the stump underneath several pieces of bark.

This box has a log book, a stamp, and an ink pad.

Hungry Hang Glider Pilot series ONE, TWO and THREE
are available until end of NOVEMEBR 2007. See HUNGRY HANG GLIDER PILOT series BONUS BOX for ways to get the bonus stamp.

Thank you for searching for our Letterboxes
and we would love to hear from you
