Site: This box is located inside Hogle Zoo in a covered area so it is accessible year round.
Zoo hours: 9am-5pm (March-Oct.) 9am-5pm (Nov-Feb)
Admission Prices: Adults: $8, Seniors 65 & older $6, children 3-12 $6, Children 2 and under free
Directions: When you are inside the zoo make your way to the Asian Highlands. Here you will be face-to-face with the world's rarest and most dangerous cats, including an Amur Leopard, Amur Tiger, Snow Leopard and Siberian Lynx.
Clues: As you enter the Asian Highlands you will notice an observation building on your left. Inside this building you will see "The Five Senses". Walk to the right of this display, and with your back against the wall (by the "Taste" sign), reach under the display log where it meets the upright logpost on the wall. Cool Cat is hiding there. Pull him sideways toward you so the velcro will stay stuck to the wood. Do this discreetly when no one is looking, even if you have to return later that day when it's not so crowded.
You can stamp in on the bench there, but if it's too busy you might try sitting at a table in the Cat Wok Cafe next to the court yard. Be sure to date your page, write your name (kids put your age too) and a short comment if possible. Replace Cool Cat carefully so he sticks to the velcro. I'd love to hear from you on my email.
