Directions to the Nature Preserve
From I-80 go North on Sierra College Blvd. (not Rocklin Road which has a sign for Sierra College, i.e. the college.)

After about four miles turn East on English Colony Road.

Continue for about one mile to Humphrey Road.

Turn South on Humphrey and proceed for 0.5 mi to the parking lot near the Southeast corner of the preserve (not the parking lot on the west side of the preserve.)

Only Box #3 is active!

#1 The Mockingbird
FF 11/10/07
The hole it was in has been sealed!

#2 Sunflower
Deactivated 3/13/08

#3 The Cool Cow
Placed 3/17/08
Replaced 1/17/2012
The new stamp, more appropriately, is a horse!

To find the third letterbox: 1) From the parking lot walk North on Wild Turkey Trail past the Old Barn Cutoff until you come to a very warty oak to on the left side of the trail 2) There will be a row of old, wooden fence posts going west. 3) Look inside the sixth fence post for the box and the cool cow stamp.

Stay on the trails. Enjoy the wild turkeys, pheasants, ring-tailed hawks and bluebirds as well as the artifacts. Horses are welcome - but not dogs.
